* Exported from MasterCook * Good Morning America's Grilled Flank Steak with Marinade Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Barbecue Beef Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Flank steak (about 1/2 lb) -----MARINADE----- 1 cup Unsweetened pineapple juice 1 cup Crushed fresh pineapple 1/2 cup Sliced red onion 1 tablespoon Reduced sodium soy sauce 1 tablespoon Red wine vinegar 2 tablespoons Olive oil 1 Lime -- sliced 3 tablespoons Chopped cilantro 2 Garlic cloves -- minced 2 teaspoons Minced jalapeno 1 tablespoon Chili powder Tabasco to taste -----MARINADE SAUCE----- 1/2 cup Beef broth Cilantro Tabasco Lime juice MARINADE: Combine all ingredients. MARINADE SAUCE: Add beef broth to Marinade; season with cilantro, Tabasco and lime juice. Oil the grill to prevent sticking. Make certain the coals are hot. Allow flank steak to sit in marinade for 2 hours. Place on grill and allow to grill until done, 6-7 minutes on first side, second side depends upon the doneness desired. Portebello mushrooms, onions, and zucchini squash can also be grilled as well as a side dish.
