                      Southwest Barbque Pepper Steak

   1      cup           Beer
     3/4  cup           A-1 Steak sauce
  20      milliliters   Garlic -- crushed
   2      teaspoons     Chili powder
   1      teaspoon      Ground cumin
   1 1/2  pounds        Round steak
                        cut into 1/2"Strips
   3      small         Red or green peppers
                        cu tInto 1" pieces
   1      teaspoon      Cornstarch

Mix first 5 ingredients; add meat. Chill 2 hours. 
Thread beef and pepper pieces on 6 skewers. 
Heat marinade and cornstarch to a boil.
 Grill or broil beef 15 mins. or until done, brushing with marinade often
. Heat remaining marinade to serve with steak.
