* Exported from MasterCook * Kiwi Lime Cream Pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Fruit No-Bake Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- cup Sugar 1/4 cup Cornstarch 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1 2/3 cups Milk 2 Eggs -- beaten 1 1/4 teaspoons Grated lime peel 1/3 cup Fresh lime juice 1 tablespoon Butter or margarine 1 9" baked pie shell 3 Kiwifruits; peel -- slice 1/8" Combine sugar and salt in medium saucepan; mix well. Gradually pour in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens; continue cooking 1 minute. Remove from heat. Blend small amount of hot mixture into eggs; add to saucepan. Return to stove and cook over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in lime peel, lime juice and butter .
