                         Ross Asparagus Casserole

   2      pounds        asparagus
   1      can           cream of mushroom soup -- (10 1/2-ounce)
     1/2  cup           milk
   3                    eggs -- hard-cooksliced thin
   6      slices        American cheese
     3/4  cup           bread crumbs

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Layer asparagus in bottom of an 8-by-8-inch baking pan.
 Combine soup and milk; pour over asparagus. 
Add a layer of hard-cooked eggs.
 Top with cheese and bread crumbs. 
Cover with foil. Bake about 1 hour.

NOTES :  You may add 1 tablespoon granulated sugar to the water instead of salt.
