Chop scooped onions and mix with sausage, egg, bread crumbs, salt, peppers, lemon pepper, thyme and romano cheese. Coat all surfaces of onion with olive oil, stuff onion with mixture. This can be cooked on the grill (foil bottom) or cooked in the oven (put about 1 cup of seasoned broth in pan), at 350°F for 35 minutes.
