SHOPPING: Vanity Fair Outlets, Ninth and Moss Streets Outlets, Train Station Outlets, Burlington Coat Factory and nearby Outlets. They are working on a shuttle bus to the outlets..

SIGHTSEEING: You will be approximately one hour from Lancaster Amish Country, Hershey Park, Zoo and Chocolate Factory. Strasburg Railroad Museum and from Dorney Park. In addition there many antique shopping areas around Reading. (In future years, if the desire is there, we will set up tours)

1. This year, for the District Two Meeting, Reading Base is hosting the meeting.   We are trying to save money for all. In the future, these arrangements may change.

A. We have arranged to have our Saturday meeting at the Central Fire Company in Laureldale (where Reading Base holds their meetings) at low cost. The Fire Company is less than a mile from the hotel, but we can car pool. We will try to provide a Navigator for each car to and from the meeting. We will also have a map and instructions if you prefer to drive alone. Lunch will be available at the Fire Company. (you pay: very reasonable prices).

B. We have made arrangements with the Hotel to set up a Hospitality room, (for Friday’s get-together). We will have SNACKS and BEVERAGES available in the Hospitality room.

C. We will be asking each USSVI Member that attends for a $10.00 Registration Fee to off-set cost of postage, nametags, etc. (no fee required for guest and nametags will be provided).

D. There will be a door prize, chances will be $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.

E. 50/50 tickets will be $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Prizes will be 25%. 15% and 10% of total sales.

F. If  Bases intend to sell memorabilia, Reading Base would expect 10% of the net profits of your sales. Please let us know if you intend on selling items so we can accommodate you.

G. Have a safe trip and see you in Reading on October 27th, 2006.
