MARCH'S Minutes

1. The meeting was called to order at 1900  hours by Base Commander Fernley Wagner. The pledge of Allegiance was led by Fern. The purpose of our organization was read. A "Tolling The Boats" was observed for all Submarines lost in March.   Dedication of this meeting to our Shipmates on Eternal Patrol.   A moment of silence was observed for our departed shipmates. 

2. Roll call: Base Commander, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Chaplain, and Storekeeper were all present. Fifteen Reading Base members were in attendance.

3. The minutes and Treasurer’s report: A motion was made and carried to accept the minutes as contained in the Newsletter. A motion was made, seconded and carried to accept the Treasurer’s report as given.

6. Communications: Several clippings regarding the cold war were presented. Nominations for National Officers Positions were discussed. We received several newsletters from other bases.

8. Close the meeting: A motion was made, seconded and carried to close the meeting. The meeting was closed at 1935 hours. A closing prayer was given by the Chaplain.
