1.
Options Screen
From top to bottom, you can set the Background Music volume, the
Sound Effect volume, the Sound Output (left option = Stereo, right
option = mono), and the Vibration (left = On, right = Off). Simple
enough, right?
2. Options when playing the game:
This is the main options screen for when you play the game (after having
selected "New Game" or "Continue" from the main menu. These
options
are
listed as they appear from top to bottom on the screen.
a) Fight: go out to fight (you'll be shown a map screen - use
the D-pad to move the beam of light around the map until
you come to your desired location).
b) Practice: fight in the practice arena
c) Frame Selection: choose one of four frames for your
mech (note, if you select a frame and don't have sufficient
parts to equip each of its many areas, you'll not be able to
go out to fight. At the start of the game, you have only one
frame that's fully equippable - it's the one that has armour
flashing around it. Select this one if you find yourself unable
to get into battle using any other frame).
d) Set up machine: select from available parts. Use
UP/DOWN to cycle between areas of the frame, and press
Y to see a list of available parts for the area. Press A to
select the currently highlighted item from the list of parts.
Press B to confirm and go back to the previous screen.
e) Change color: Select from a wide variety of colors for
your mech
f)
Squire: Equip a squire. A squire is one of those little
droids that can be unleashed when in battle; you can choose
from a variety of such creatures. Each squire takes up a
certain amount of LF (Life Force), and you can only equip
squires until you've run out of LF. Select a slot and press Y
to see a list of squires available to you. Press A to enter the
squire into the slot. Make sure you don't go over your
amount of LF (shown at the bottom of the readout window.
Press B to go confirm and go back.
g) Material Composition: When you destroy an enemy's
squire, a gem will be left in its place. Grab this gem. Once
battle is over, select the Material Composition option from
the
menu and you'll be able to create new pieces of armor.
You'll be presented with two platforms. Toggle between the
platfrom using Left/Right, and press Y to bring up a list of
crystals that you have. Select a crystal you'd like to place on
the platform using the A button. Do the same for the other
platform. Press A, and an image of the equipment that
results from the pairing will appear. You'll be asked if you'd
like to create this equipment. You need to use 2 gems (1
gem is worthless by itself.
h) Records: view the STATISTICS (top option), save the
game (middle option), and load a new game (bottom
option). See below for information on the records.
