Carol Mae Copeland Carol Mae Copeland, 77, of 7701 W. Sterrettania Rd., Girard, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at Hamot Medical Center. She was born June 7, 1928, in Cranesville, Pa., a daughter of the late Francis “Bun” and Thelma Kuhn Wagner. She was a graduate of Girard High School. She owned and operated Double C Ranch. Carol loved horses and was a member of the NHRA and the Morgan Horse Association, and was a founding member of the Hoofed Animal Welfare Council. She is survived by a brother, Carl “Jim” Wagner and his wife Betty, of Cranesville; two nephews, Cary Wagner and his wife Kari, of Albion, and Carl J. Wagner, Jr., of Ariz.; two nieces, Marlene Wunz of W. Springfield, and Margaret Martinez of Tucson, Ariz.; a lifelong friend, Margo Lilly of Erie; and a close circle of friends and students. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard, on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until the time of the service at 9 p.m. in Burton's All Faiths' Chapel, with Pastor A.
