Friends and relatives numbering fifty-five gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hills at Cranesville Saturday evening. The occasion was their silver wedding anniversary.
Dinner was served at twelve o'clock. Table decorations were several cakes. Mrs. K. E. Hamilton a sister of Mrs. Hills, baked a Lady Baltimore cake in her honor; Mrs. Eleanor Hills, daughter-in-law, baked a chocolate cake, the favorite of Mr. Hills.
Several gifts were received by teh happy couple, including a purse of silver. Music was furnished by Miss Marjorie Hamilton of Erie, Mr. Clarence Hills and a friend from Meadville. The guests departed at a late hour wishing them many more happy anniversaries.
