Two brothers at a dramatic dilemma. One brother's deep love for the other causes him to achieve deeds of heroism.

Nick has succeeded in joining an important American financial company, whose members are impressed by his resolute manner of wiping out obstacles. It is for these qualities that he is chosen to suppress a "troublesome" Association of British scientists whose activities interfere with the company's financial interests. Nick soon achieves position power and wealth thanks to the help of his mistress and the support of his friend Matthew. Tony lives in London; he is an esteemed scientist, ardently persevering in his work, he loves his young colleague. Emily is the daughter of the Association's president, who has died suddenly, and she decides to continue her father's work, aided by Tony who now becomes one of the group of scientists who are "to be suppressed". The dramatic dilemma for Nick is that Tony is his brother! Nick goes to London in a desperate but unsuccessful attempt to persuade Tony to accept attractive prospects of an alternative career and back out of the Association. After a heated argument with his brother he meets Matthew, whose bosses have planned Tony's death. But true feelings of honor together with deep love for his family and sincere brotherly attachment can cause a man to achieve deeds of unexpected and exceptional heroism.
