                          Creamy Butter Frosting

   1      stick         butter
   4 1/2  cups          confectioner's sugar -- sifted
   1                    egg
   1 1/2  teaspoons     vanilla
                        milk

Beatbutter until light and fluffy; gradually add 1/2 of the confectioner's sugar, 
beating well after each addition. Beat in egg and vanilla. 
 Add remaining sugar and enough milk to spreading consistency.
