     1/4  cup           Shortening (crisco)
     1/2  teaspoon      Salt
     1/3  cup           Maple syrup
   2      teaspoons     Vanilla
   3      cups          Confectioners sugar -- sifted
     1/4  cup           Milk

Combine crisco,salt,syrup,vanilla and 1 cup sugar.
 Blend alternating milk and remaining sugar.
