Bring to a boil, making sure to stir until there are no crystals on sides of pan . Boil until candy thermometer registers 240 F. In electric mixer bowl, beat the meringue powder and 1/3 cup lukewarm water until foamy. Gradually beat in the 2 tb. sugar. Beat until stiff. Add hot cooked syrup in a steady stream while beating.
