                               Doodle Cake

   2      cups          Flour
   2      teaspoons     Soda
                        Dash of salt
   2      cups          Sugar
   2                    Large eggs
   1                    #2 can crushed pineapple
   1      teaspoon      Vanilla
                        TOPPING
   1 1/2  cups          Sugar
   1                    Stick margarine
   1                    Small can evaporated milk
   1      cup           Chopped nuts
   1      cup           Flaked coconut

 Combine all cake ingredients and mix well.
 Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan and
 bake 350 for 45-55 minutes or until it tests done.

 TOPPING: Boil together sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk for 1 minute.
Spread on cake while hot. 
Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped nuts and 1 cup flaked coconut.
