* Exported from MasterCook * Italian Mushroom Skillet Recipe By : Pasta, Rice & Beans Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Casseroles Italian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Pound ground beef 1 Medium onion -- chopped 2 Cups mushrooms -- sliced 2 Cloves garlic -- finely chopped 14 Ounces pizza sauce 1 1/2 Cups uncooked medium pasta shells 1 1/2 Cups water 1 Teaspoon sugar 1 Teaspoon Italian seasoning 3/4 Cup Italian style four cheese combination -- shredded or Monterey Jack Cheese Cook ground beef, onion, mushrooms and garlic in 12" skillet over med. heat, stirring frequently, until beef is brown and vegetables are tender; drain. Stir in pizza sauce, pasta, water, sugar and Italian seasoning. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is tender. Sprinkle with cheese.
