* Exported from MasterCook * Miami Black Bean Chili Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Chili Mexican Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Onion chopped 1 cl Garlic minced 1 T Olive oil 1/2 lb Mushrooms sliced 1 lb Boneless beef trimmed and Cubed 1 15 oz cn tomato sauce 1 6 oz. cn tomato paste 1/4 c Marsala wine 3 T Chili powder 1/2 t Ground black pepper 1 cn Black beans undrained Key Lime zest for garnish Saute garlic and onion in oil in Dutch oven. Stir constantly until soft. Add mushrooms and beef and continue to saute 3-4 mintues. Stir in remaining ingredients except beans, rice and lime. Bring to boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour stirring occasionally. Add beans and cook until thoroughly heated. Serve over rice garnish with lime.
