Place in bottom of grased 12 x 8 inch or 9 inch square pan pressing to cover bottom of pan. Spread apple filling over dough. Sprinkle with dry gelatin. Sprinkle topping over gelatin. bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. Biscuits will be dumpling like and light and light golden in color. If desired serve with cream or ice cream. Topping: In mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt. cut in butter until mixture is coarse and crumbly. Tips: Cobbler may be prepared, covered with plastic warp and refrigerated up to 4 hours before baking. bake at 375 for 25-27 minutes.
