Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Pies Fruits Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cups Blueberries -- fresh 1/4 cup Water 2/3 cup Sugar 1 cup Flour -- whole wheat 1/2 cup Sugar, brown -- firmly packed 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Baking powder pn Nutmeg, ground 1/3 c Butter; softened Whipped cream Combine blueberries, water, and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour into an 8" square baking dish. Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and nutmeg in a small mixing bowl, mixing well; cut in butter with pastry blender unti mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over blueberry mixture.
