                        Frozen Strawberry Dessert

   1      cup           Sour cream
     1/2  cup           Sugar
   1      pint          Fresh strawberries -- mash
     1/2  cup           Vanilla wafers -- crust
     1/4  pound         Butter
   2      cups          Confectioner's sugar
   2                    Eggs
   2      tablespoons   Vanilla wafers -- crush

Whip together sour cream and sugar.
 Blend strawberries well with cream mixture and reserve.
 Line the bottom of an 8" square pan.
 Spread with strawberry mixture and freeze.
Cream butter with sugar and add eggs, one at a time.
 Spread on frozen mixture, sprinkle with vanilla wafer crumbs and return to freezer. 
Transfer dish from freezer to refrigerator one hour before serving to soften slightly.
