* Exported from MasterCook * Barbecued Tuna with Lemon Butter Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Seafood Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 lb tuna steaks -- *See note 6 slices bacon 1/2 cup butter 1 clove garlic -- minced 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons fresh parsley -- minced *NOTE: Substitute Shark, Marlin or Swordfish Wrap 1 strip of bacon around the circumference of each steak and secure with a toothpick. Melt butter, stir in garlic, lemon juice and parsley. Set aside. Grease grates of a preheated grill and place steaks about 6 inches above the coals. Brush with lemon butter, baste and cook. Turn only once and baste several times until fish becomes opaque. Allow 10 minutes per inch of thickness. 5 minutes per side for a 1-inch steak.
