                     Marinated Barbecued Chuck Steak

   1      tablespoon    Chili powder
   2      teaspoons     Ginger -- ground
   1      teaspoon      Salt
   1                    Garlic clove -- minced
   2      tablespoons   Onion -- minced
     1/3  cup           Lemon juice
     1/4  cup           Oil -- olive
   2      pounds        Chuck steak -- about 1" thick

Combine first 7 ingredients; stir.  Place steak in a large shallow bowl; pour marinade over steak.  
Turn steak ot coat both sides with marinade; cover and refrigerate 10 hours or overnight.

 Remove steak from marinade; place on grill over hot coals. 
Cook 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
