* Exported from MasterCook * Rib Eye Steak Arezzo - Style Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Meats Italian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup Dry red wine 1 cup Olive oil 6 Garlic cloves -- chopped 4 Bay leaves -- crushed 1 tablespoon Crushed black pepper 4 Rib eye steaks (3/4" thick) (about 10 oz ea) 3/4 pound Green beans 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter (1/4 stick) 1 tablespoon Olive oil 1 large Shallot -- minced Lemon wedges Whisk first 5 ingredients in medium bowl. Place steaks in large glass baking dish. Pour marinade over, turning to coat. Cover and refrigerate 5 hours, turning occasionally. Cook green beans in large pot of boiling water until crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Drain. Transfer to bowl of ice water and cool. Drain. ( Can be prepared 4 hours ahead. Cover and refrigerate.) Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat). Remove steaks from marinade. Season with salt and pepper. Grill to desired doneness, about 4 minutes per side for rare. Transfer to plate. Tent with foil to keep warm. Melt butter with 1 tbsp. oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beans and shallot and saute 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
