                    Paw Paw Pie ( Indiana Banana Pie)

   2      large         Eggs
   1      teaspoon      Cornstarch
     1/2  cup           Sugar
   1      cup           Raw mashed banana pulp
   1      teaspoon      Vanilla
   1                    Lightly baked 9" pie shell
     1/4  teaspoon      Cinnamon
     1/4  teaspoon      Salt
   1      cup           Half and half cream
   2      tablespoons   Melted margarine
                        Nutmeg to taste

Beat eggs with cornstarch.
 Add all ingredients except nutmeg.
 Blend well and pour into a baked pie shell.

 Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
 Bake in a preheted 450 oven for 10 minutes.
 Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 30 minutes or longer,
 or until knife inserted comes out clean.
