* Exported from MasterCook * Down-Maine Blueberry Pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Desserts American Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 9-inch pie shell -- baked 1 quart Blueberries 1 cup Sugar 3/4 cup Water 2 tablespoons Flour 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1/2 cup Water Whipped cream Pick over and wash blueberries. Reserve 3 cups berries. Add remaining berries to 3/4 c water. Add sugar and cook until soft. Make a paste of flour, salt and 1/4 c water. Add to blueberries and cook slowly until thickened. Add hot mixture to uncooked reserved blueberries. Turn all into baked pastry shell. Chill for 3 hours. Serve topped with whipped cream. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
