                        Chocolate Peanut Cream Pie

   1                    pie crust  (9 inch) -- baked
                        *CHOCOLATE FILLING*
     1/2  cup           butter -- softened
     1/2  cup           sugar
   1                    egg
     3/4  cup           chocolate chips
   1      cup           peanuts -- chopped
                        *PEANUT FILLING*
   4      ounces        cream cheese -- softened
     1/2  cup           peanut butter
   1      cup           powdered sugar
   1                    egg
   1 1/2  cups          whipped cream -- whipped
     1/2  cup           peanuts -- chopped

Chocolate Filling:  Cream butter and sugar.  Add egg; beat 2- 3 minutes. 
 Blend in chocolate.  Spread 1 cup mixture overcrust.  Reserve rest of mixture.  
Sprinkle with 1 cup of nuts.

 Peanut Filling:  Combine cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and egg. 
 Fold in whipped cream.  Spoon over filling.
 Spread reserved chocolate mixture to within 2 inches of edges.  
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts.

NOTES : Tom had this dessert at the Fox and Hounds restaurant and raved about it.  I later found the recipe much to his pleasure.  It is a rich dessert but very special
