                         Georgia Peach Cream Pie

     3/4  Cup           sugar
   2      Tablespoons   flour
   3      Tablespoons   cornstarch
     1/4  Teaspoon      salt
   2      Cups          milk
   2                    well beaten egg yolks
   1      Tablespoon    butter
   1      Teaspoon      lemon juice
   2      Cups          sliced fresh peaches
   1      9 Inch        baked pie shell
                        Sweetened whipped cream

    Mix sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt. 
Add milk slowly and cook overboiling water until mixture begins to thicken. 
Add well-beaten egg yolksand butter and cook until mixture thickens. 
Add lemon juice and cool. 
Arrange 1 cup sliced peaches in pie shell.
 Pour in filling and top withremaining peaches.
 Chill thoroughly and top with sweetened whipped cream.
