* Exported from MasterCook * Lime Chiffon Pie (Epcot Center) Recipe By : Serving Size : 2 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Envelope unflavored -- gelatin 1/3 cup Cold water 2 tablespoons Milk 1/2 cup Sugar 1/3 cup Fresh (or bottled) lime -- juice Pinch of salt 1/4 teaspoon Green food coloring 1 1/2 cups Heavy cream -- whipped 1 1/2 teaspoons Grated lime peel 1 Baked 9" pie shell Soak gelatin in cold water in a cup for 5 min. Place cup in pan of hot water and heat until gelatin is dissolved. Combine milk, sugar, lime juice, salt and food coloring. Add gelatin. Chill until mixture begins to thicken, then beat until fluffy.
