                             Babe's Pecan Pie

   1      cup           Sugar
   1      cup           Dark corn syrup
   3                    Eggs
   2      tablespoons   Butter -- melted
   1      teaspoon      Vanilla
   1      cup           Pecans -- coarsely chopped
   1                    Pie shell -- unbaked

Combine sugar and corn syrup in a small saucepan; bring to a boil.
 Beat eggs at medium speed til blended.
 Gradually add hot sugar mixture to eggs, beating constantly.  
Stir in butter, vanilla nad pecans.
 Pour mixture into pie shell; bake at 350 for 40 min.
