* Exported from MasterCook * Best of Show Prize Pecan Pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 eggs 1 cup packed dark brown sugar 1 cup light corn syrup 2 tablespoons butter -- melted 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 tablespoon bourbon -- (1 to 2) 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans 1 9 inch unbaked pie shell -- (recipe follows) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, beat eggs slightly. Add sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla and bourbon. Stir until well blended. Stir in pecans and pour into unbaked pie shell. Cover edge of pie with aluminum foil to prevent overbrowning . Bake for 25 minutes, remove foil from edge and continue baking for another 25 to 30 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
