                             Creole Pecan Pie

   1                    9" pie crust -- unbaked
   1      cup           Karo syrup -- blue label
   1      cup           Sugar
   1      cup           Pecans
   2                    Eggs -- beaten
     1/8  teaspoon      Salt
   2      tablespoons   margarine -- melted

Mix ingreds. together, adding pecans last. 
 Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 400 F. oven for 40 min.
 or until a knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean.
 Cool on wire rack.
