                            Pudding Pecan Pie

   1      cup           Syrup -- dark corn
   3 3/4  ounces        Pudding mix -- vanilla instant
     3/4  cup           Milk -- evaporated
   1                    Egg -- slightly beaten
   1      cup           Pecans -- chopped
   1                    Pastry shell (8") -- unbaked
                        Whipped topping
                        Pecan halves

Combine syrup and pudding mix in a bowl.  
Gradually add evaporated milk and egg; stir to blend. 
 Add pecans and pour into the unbaked pie shell.
 Bake at 375 degrees until pie is set, about 55 minutes.
 Garnish with whipped topping and pecan halves.
