* Exported from MasterCook * Crazy Crust Pumpkin Pie (Makes Its Own Crust) Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Fruits Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- CRUST 1 cup Flour 2 tablespoons Sugar 1 teaspoon Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon Salt 3/4 cup water -- cold 2/3 cup Vegetable shortening 1 Egg FILLING 1 pound Can pumpkin -- cooked 3/4 cup Sugar 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon 2/3 cup Evaporated milk 1 Egg Combine all ingredients for crust. Blend well at lowest speed of mixer, then beat two minutes at medium speed. Spread batter in 9 or 10" deep dish pie pan. Combine filling ingredients and beat on low until well blended.
