* Exported from MasterCook * Fresh Strawberry and Banana Pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin -- (1/4 ounce) 1/2 cup granulated sugar juice of 1/2 lemon 10 ounces frozen strawberries -- partly thaw 1 large banana -- sliced 1 cup heavy cream -- whipped 1 pie crust -- baked, cooled Pour 1/2 cup water in top of a double boiler. Sprinkle gelatin over water; let soften, then place over boiling water and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat. Add sugar, lemon juice and strawberries and their juice to gelatin mixture.
