* Exported from MasterCook * Muffuletta Salad Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Ethnic Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- SALAD: 1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano leaves 2 cups Uncooked mostaccioli or Penne 1 tablespoon Olive oil 1/4 pound Sliced salami -- 1/8" strips 1/4 pound Cooked smoked ham 1/8"strips 1/4 pound Provolone cheese Salad greens OLIVE TOMATO DRESSING 1 Anchovy fillet -- mashed 1 large Garlic clove -- minced 1/3 cup Olive oil 1 cup Cherry tomatoes -- halved 1/2 cup Pimento-stuffed olives Sliced 1/2 cup Calamata olives -- seeded 1/2 cup Hopped mixed pickled Vegetables Stir anchovy and garlic thoroughly ito oil in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Prepare Olive-Tomato Dressing. Cook mostaccioli as directed on package; drain. Rinse in cold water; drain. Toss mostaccioli and oil. Layer mostaccioli, salami, ham and Provolone on Olive-Tomato Dressing. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
