* Exported from MasterCook * Mushroom Salad (Hungarian Style) Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 pounds Firm fresh mushrooms 1 Onion -- diced 1 tablespoon Vinegar 3/4 cup Sour cream or plain yogurt -- salt & pepper (to ta 1 tablespoon Parsley -- finely diced 1 cup Bell peppers -- diced 2 Cloves of garlic -- minced 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 teaspoon Paprika Clean and trim the mushrooms, blanch for 1-2 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain mushrooms and set aside. Mix the onion, garlic, green pepper, lemon juice and vinegar. Season to taste with salt & pepper. Blend in the sour cream and stir until smooth. Add in the mushrooms. Note: if the mushrooms are large half or quarter them. Stir until the mushrooms are well coated with the dressing. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika when serving. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
