* Exported from MasterCook * Asparagus Salad Mold Recipe By : Serving Size : 3 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3/4 cup Sugar 1/2 cup Vinegar 1 cup Water 1/2 cup Cold water 2 Envelopes of plain gelatin 1 cup Chopped celery 2 tablespoons Lemon juice 1 tablespoon Minced onion 4 ounces Jar of pimentos -- chopped 1 can Whole green asparagus 1 teaspoon Salt 5 ounces Can of water chestnuts Combine sugar, vinegar, 1 cup of water and salt. Bring to a boil to dissolve sugar. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup of cold water. Remove boiling mixture; add gelatin, onion and cool. Drain asparagus and cut into bite size pieces.
