* Exported from MasterCook * Festive Layered Salad Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup Small macaroni shells 4 cups Romaine lettuce -- shredded Carrots, pared -- cut 2"sticks 10 ounces Frozen peas -- thawed Red onion -- small 1/2 cup Swiss cheese -- shredded 2 cups Ham -- cut 1/2" cubes 1 1/2 cups Mayonnaise 2 tablespoons Fresh dill -- snipped OR 1 1/2 teaspoons Dried dillweed Hard-cooked eggs -- cut wedges Cookmacaroni as directed. Drain. Cool to room temp. Place lettuce in an even layer in the bottom of a 3 qt clear glass bowl. Arrange carrot sticks in an even layer over lettuce. Cover with a layer of macaroni, then peas, onion, and ham. Sprinkle top with Swiss cheese. Combine the mayo and dill in asmall bowl. Mound the dressing in the center of the salad.
