                       Lohmann's Coleslaw Dressing

   1 1/2  cups          granulated sugar
     3/4  cup           white vinegar
   5      tablespoons   vegetable oil
   1 1/2  teaspoons     dry mustard
   1 1/2  teaspoons     celery seeds
   1      tablespoon    salt
   1      pinch         white pepper -- ground

In large bowl, combine sugar, vinegar, oil, mustard, celery seeds, salt and pepper.  
Stir until sugar dissolves. 
Yield: About 1 pint dressing; enough for 16 to 20 servings of coleslaw
 or 4 pounds of cabbage.
