* Exported from MasterCook * Famous Warren St. Seafood Salad Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Seafood Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3/4 cup Mayonnaise 1/4 cup Sour cream 1 teaspoon Chinese mustard 1 teaspoon Horseradish -- or more 1 Lime -- juice of 1 teaspoon Honey Tabasco 1 1/2 teaspoons Chicken base -- or salt Black pepper 2 Shallots 1 Celery stalk 1/2 Red pepper 1/2 Green pepper 1 pound Seafood* *You can use any single or combination of cooked seafoods - crab, imitation crab, shrimp, haddock - and others. Mix the first nine ingredients together in a large bowl. If you use chicken base, it is easiest to dissolve it in a little hot water before adding. Chop, or mince, the shallots, celery and peppers and add to bowl. Divide the seafood into two equal parts. Mince one half and cut the other in 1/4 inch pieces. Add to bowl and mix gently so as not to further reduce size of seafood. Cover bowl and allow to set overnight before serving. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
