* Exported from MasterCook * Sesame Shrimp Salad ** Recipe By : Serving Size : 2 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Seafood Pasta Microwave Oriental Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 c Fresh broccoil flowerets 1/2 c Carrot -- slice diagonal 3 tb Water 1/2 c Fresh snow peas -- trimmed 3 tb Soy sauce 2 tb Fresh lemon juice 2 tb Sesame oil 2 ts Sugar 1 t Fresh ginger -- grated 1 c Medium pasta shells -- cook 1/2 lb Shrimp -- peel, devein, cook 1/3 c Red pepper -- sliced thin 2 Green onions -- chopped 2 ts Sesame seeds -- toasted Place broccoli and carrots in microwave safe casserole. Add water; cover. Microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes; stir. Add snow peas; cover. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute; drain. Cover vegetables with ice water to stop further cooking. Let stand for 5 minutes; drain well. Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, sesame oil, sugar and ginger in large bowl. Add cooked vegetables, pasta, shrimp and peppers; toss lightly.
