* Exported from MasterCook * Dutch Slaw Recipe By : Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 pounds Cabbage -- shredded 1 Onion -- finely chopped 2 Green peppers -- chopped 1 cup Sugar 1 cup Salad oil 1 cup Vinegar 1 teaspoon Dry mustard 2 teaspoons Celery seed 1 teaspoon Salt Mix cabbage, onion, green peppers and stir in sugar and let stand. Meanwhile, heat over medium heat, oil, vinegar, mustard, celery seed and salt. Bring to a boil and then pour this hot mixture over the cabbage. Chill for a least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
