   2                    Medium carrots shredded
     1/2  cup           Chopped parsley -- or 1/8 to 1
                        dry.
   1      cup           Thin sliced onion.
   6      tablespoons   Sugar -- granulated
   6      tablespoons   Vinegar
   4      tablespoons   Oil -- salad
   2      teaspoons     Salt

o    Mix everything together and compress slightly.
Let lie for a few hours before serving.
