* Exported from MasterCook * Mushrooms & Spinach Caesar Salad Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 pound Fresh mushrooms 1 can Mushrooms -- sliced (6-8 oz.) 1/2 cup Salad oil 2 tablespoons Lemon juice 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 small Garlic clove -- minced 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1/8 teaspoon Ground black pepper 1/2 pound Fresh spinach 1 small Head romaine lettuce 1 cup Croutons 1/4 cup Red onion rings -- thinly 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese -- grated 1 cup Raw egg Rinse, pat dry and slice mushrooms (makes about 2 1/2 cups) or drain canned mushrooms; place in a salad bowl. Combine oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and black pepper; mix well. Pour over mushrooms; toss well to coat. Tear spinach into bite-size pieces (makes about 1 1/2 quarts).
