* Exported from MasterCook * Bean Soup Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soups Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups Dry navy beans 6 1/2 cups Water 1/4 pound Link sausage -- diced 3 tablespoons Carrot -- shredded 3 tablespoons Green onion -- chopped 1 Beef bouillon cube 1/2 cup Canned condensed tomato soup 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt ds Pepper 1 tb Instant mashed potato grans. Combine beans, 5 1/2 cups water, sausage, carrot, green onions and bouillon cube. Bring to boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer 2 hours. Let cool 1 hour then drain, saving liquid. Grind or mash bean mixture and add to bean liquid. Combine undiluted tomato soup, salt, pepper and potato granules with one cup water. Add back to bean mixture.
