* Exported from MasterCook * Linda's Quick Bean Soup Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3/4 pound tightly packed chopped fresh kale -- (6 cups) 1 cup chopped onion 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder 48 ounces red kidney beans -- (3 cans) undrained 29 ounces no-salt-added whole tomatoes -- (2 cans) undrained and chopped 15 ounces garbanzo beans -- (1 can) undrained 13 3/4 ounces no-salt-added chicken broth -- (1 can) Combine all ingredients in a large Dutch oven; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour.
