                               Tomato Broth

   1                    Medium onion -- thinly sliced
   1      tablespoon    Peanut oil
   4                    Tomatoes (peferablr Israeli)
                        ? coarsley chopped
   2      tablespoons   Chopped fresh basil or
   2      teaspoons     Dried basil
   2      quarts        Chicken broth

In large pot,saute onion in hot oil until wilted,3 to 4 minutes.Add tomatoes,basil and broth
 and bring to boil.Lower heat to simmer.Cover and cook 10 minutes
