* Exported from MasterCook * Bongo Bongo Soup Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soups Seafood Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/4 cup Onion -- finely chopped 10 milliliters Garlic -- minced 4 tablespoons Butter 1 pinch Fresh oysters -- chopped 4 tablespoons Flour 3 cups Light cream 1 cup Chicken broth 3/4 cup Spinach puree Salt and pepper In a medium size saucepan, saute the onion and garlic in butter until soft. Add oysters and cook until they curl. With a slotted spoon, carefully remove oysters from mixture and set aside. Add flour to mixture and cook until foamy. Add cream and cook, stirring, until soup is thickened. Return oysters to mixture. Stir in chicken broth and spinach. Bring to a boil.
