                         Banana Vichysoisse Soup

   1      cup           Diced raw potato
     1/2  cup           Diced onion
   1      cup           Diced peeled apple
     1/2  cup           Sliced celery
   1                    Banana peeled & sliced
   1 1/2  cups          Chicken broth -- well seasoned
     1/2  teaspoon      Salt
   1      tablespoon    Butter
     1/2  teaspoon      Curry
   1      cup           Heavy cream

Put potato, apple, celery, banana, onion & broth into a saucepan. Cover, bring to a boil.
 Simmer over low heat til tender, abt 15 min. Put in blender, add salt, butter & curry powder
. Cover & blend til smoth, abt 30 seconds. Stir in cream and chill thoroughly. Serve garnished w/chives.
Makes 4 cups.
