* Exported from MasterCook * Maryland Style Louisiana Crab Soup Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soups Seafood Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Ham bone w/pieces of ham 2 Bay leaves 1 Onion -- slice 3 Ribs celery -- dice 3 Carrots -- slice 1/2 cup Macaroni 3 Ears corn -- cut bite-size 1/2 cup Lima beans 1/2 Head cabbage -- chop 16 ounces Can tomatoes 1 pound Crabmeat 2 tablespoons Zatarain's crab boil -- or 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning Pepper 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon Prepared mustard 2 tablespoons Vinegar 2 small Boiled crabs Put ham bone in dutch oven and fill half way with water. Add bay leaves and onion . Cook 1 hour and strain. To this stock add ham bits, celery, carrots, macaroni, corn, lima beans, cabbage, tomatoes and crabmeat. In a separate bowl, mix Zatarain's crab boil, pepper to taste, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and vinegar. Stir up and add to pot. If desired, add 2 small crabs at this point.
